Mount Desert Island - Maine

My wife and I have been there several times. Houses for rent are easy to find and even on the water they are pretty reasonable. There’s Acadia National Park for hiking and biking. There are tons of uninhabited islands just off the shore to kayak to, lunch on and explore. We always have seals and porpoises for companions. Lobsters abound and are cheap. What else could one ask for?
