Maho Bay, St. John, US Virigin Islands

This is a place to "be." Located inside a State Park, there are no commercial activities - no restaurants, shops, media, traffic..just you, your cabin, the ocean, the sand. There is food available in their onsite restaurant and a little store for essentials. You can get a bus into town if the tranquility gets to you or you want to shop around. You can book a sail to other remote beaches, you can windsurf, snorkel, scuba dive. Mostly, I like to just enjoy the clear blue water, white sand, and do nothing. It is the most re-charging place I've been. And I've been to a lot of places!
