Aromatherapy For Stress

Aromatherapy for stress relief is based on the connection between our sense of smell and our moods. It is said that the scents we breathe can affect our body chemistry and change our feelings.

Ever notice the smile that sometimes appears on someones face with the scent of a rose? Or the calming effect of lying down on a lavender pillow?

It really does make sense (pun intended) when you think about it. So what aromas do we look for to relieve stress?

Along with lavender, marjoram, bergamot, sandalwood, lemon, and chamomile are known to provide good relaxing aromas.
