Additional Ways to Reduce Stress

Go for a walk in a park and practice observing the world while enjoying the pleasure of simple things (your breath, crisp leaves beneath your feet, children laughing, or dogs playing in the water).
Lie down with your eyes closed and listen attentively to a beautiful but complex musical composition and let yourself be in awe of the gift of music.
Go for a "sound" walk or sit in your car near a park and do nothing but listen to the sounds.
Watch children playing and laugh at their antics.
Create simple notecards containing meaningful verses, quotes, prayers or words of encouragement; pull them out and read them during the day to re-align your thinking.
